demonstration
In a demonstration class, our talented chefs show the entire menu preparation step by step in our intimate teaching kitchen. Students are provided recipes to take notes and write comments as they watch and learn the important details of culinary techniques, ingredient choices, equipment selection and meal timing. Classes are small and interactive, and students are encouraged to ask questions. This class style is our most popular as the chef is able to demonstrate, beginning to end, all of the critical steps of meal preparation. Students are able to focus intently on the techniques and take detailed notes for later, at-home use.

hands-on
In a hands-on class, you become the chef. During class, our chef-instructor talks students through the written recipes and the menu preparation and points out important landmarks along the way. Students take-it-away and prepare the entire menu themselves (under the watchful eye of our chef!). A short debrief is conducted at the end of class highlighting the important learnings from the session. Hands-on classes are on-your-feet and active with a dose of fun and chaos. This class style is most appropriate for the admitted hands-on learner.
